Anyway, these are not to my taste. That being said - wow! They are amazingly expression-full for something clearly also "comic book" like. I could see wearing them to both delight AND frighten at the same time, depending on one's outlook. :-)

Something...nice. Erm. Um. The nightmares they give me probably won't make me wet my bed more than once? :P

Seriously, they look really well-made. And I like the hair, especially on the blonde.It's just those eyes that give me the creeps. *shudder*

Wow!
Like anime come to life. Goes to show that if cartoons were walking down the street, the world would a surreal place. The eyes are creepy, and lovely all at the same time.

You really are extremely talented. I find my self constantly amazed at what your doing.

As an introduction, Shane "Brambleberry Wildwose" Odom here, professional mask maker and fantasist. I can't remember where I first came across your art, perhaps here on LJ somewhere. But I never did get around to friending you on LJ until I noticed just the other day that you had friended me! So I had to return the favor! If you haven't seen my work its at Mythical Designs.

So I really do love what you do, especially that antlered greenman, but then I am a bit partial to Green Men in general.

as a painter i know how miserable it feels to do a commission piece that isn't to your own tastes ... but you definitely created EXACTLY what you were asked to do. they remind me of "betty & veronica" from the archie comics. or anime (in the eyes). i'm in awe of your ability to three dimensionally create any sort of mask requested. you are able to replicate anything. you are so gifted.

Great balance of realism and stylization. These look like they would be great heads for mannequins modeling clothing for funky teenagers and young adults. I like them.

The person who commissioned them apparently didn't because she never finished paying me.
I'm going to try and figure out something to use them with since I'm stuck with them now.
